Hey musicians -- Banjo or Guit-jo ?

So, I take the role guitar, moderately well, I suppose. I've been wanting to learn to play the banjo, but I'm not sure I want to completely learn a new prime mover, so I think of getting a guit-jo (six-string banjo) so that I'll know how to play it, but I'm afraid I'll miss the full banjo experience. What do you suggest for a guitarist absent to play the banjo?

If you paucity to learn the banjo, just learn the regular 4 stringed banjo. There is no point in learning a six string banjo. Besides you will already be a little ahead in learning the banjo if you have knowledge of to play guitar.
