What types of music need 5 string Electric bass guitar's?
Name some songs and types of music. Someone told me that slayer uses reject D tunings, what does that mean?
Does drop D mean i need Five strings?
First of all, you don't impecuniousness a 5-string bass in order to use the Drop D alternate tuning. Drop D simply means that you tune the top string (E) to a D. It changes your range a meagre, and especially your octave formation when playing.
5-strings are really up to the players preference. I've seen a lot of Jazz players use 5-strings, because the prevailing reason for having one is to have extended tonal range (hit more notes on more octaves). If you like to play up on the neck and fancy to go farther, the 5-string will do it for you.
I need a good 5 string electric bass guitar.?
I'm looking to fritz almost ever style of music; mostly Rock and Metal. I want one with 3-band EQ. Under one thousand dollars.
