I've never seen one that wasn't habit made. I've heard that you can get Ibanez's artcore as a 5-string, but again, I've never seen it. I know the sound won't be the same, but I've definitely seen acoustic 5 stringers. If you're compliant to bite the bullet, you could go with an acoustic, or just get a custom made bass.

how can you connect a bass guitar body to a neck?
i'm tough to be a big cheapy
i would like to buy a bass guitar off like craigslist or ebay but i only get twenty dollars a month for allowence and
im super imaptient
i have noticed though that people push bass guitar body's for very very cheap
and also very cheap bass guitar necks
and me and my thirfty mind i was thinking why cant i just buy a body and a neck and bingo!
but i'm not sure how to commect them and would the bass aim

First of all you stated yourself that you are eager. Stringed instruments are precise tools. They don't just slap them together.
Repairing and assembling these instruments is tedious employment.
But if you really must know. There is a plate with 4 bolts that attach the neck to the body. I am not sure if they are all interchangeable.
