if u take a 6 string guitar and put bass strings on it will it sound the same as a bass guitar?
wel me and my dad were tough to figure out wether u can take a 6 string (electric) guitar and take all the strings off and put bass strings on it will it sound the same as a regular bass b cus its the strings that makes the noise solemnization?
No, the bass neck is longer, so that makes the vibrating ratios between the bass strings and guitar strings remarkable; different sounds. If it was the same length, then you have to worry about the pickups...they're also different. So, pretty much, no. Remember not to play the bass in the guitar amp please?

How hard is it to transition from 6-string guitar to bass guitar?
I currently freedom guitar and was planning on performing in a band with it. However, our bassist fell through and we found someone who can play guitar. I was just curious about how hard it is to transition from guitar to bass so I could drama bass and the other person can play guitar.
No. Basically, you due play rhythm stuff. Like, for most genres, if the guitarist is playing a power chord, you play the well-spring note, or you could play your own funky complicated bassline.
