If i use headphones, Can I damage my guitar amp by playing a bass through it?

I just bought a new bass guitar... but i don't have a bass amp yet.

I have some very slight headphones that I usually plug into my amp while i play guitar at night.

I know that playing bass at high volume through a guitar amp can cause damage to the demagogue, but what if I use my headphones? Can the amp still be damaged if I use headphones?

no it cannot. I wouldn't stimulate the thing to its limits...but that's definitely ok to do.

What are the pros and cons contrasting playing the electric guitar or bass guitar?

Ok, so i characterize as i want to learn how to play bass guitar, but i haven't decided. any tips?

I started out as a bass entertainer and changed to guitar so it doesn't make any difference which one you start with...Playing bass is great and if you have a natural ability for rhythm then bass may be the thing for you. It is heavier than a guitar so you inadequacy to keep that in mind but otherwise pick one up and see how you feel...Learn to play both..They both have their own distinct advantges....Just do it.....And when you have a rockin federate I'll record you.
