Is there a website that gives the bass guitar note to go along with different guitar chords?
For exemplar, the bass note for the root G chord is first string third fret. Is there a website that has the bass note for most of the basic root chords?
The simplest bass lines you can stake are the roots. The root (first note, tonic, etc) of the G chord is G - and the *fourth* strings third fret is G. The thickest string is the fourth go along with! Fourth string = low string = deepest sounding string = E string. First string = high string = highest sounding terms = G string (on a standard bass).
So you need to learn the notes on your fretboard - that way if someone says they're playing an A-D-F#m-E progression you'll know where all of those notes are.
That is the simplest way to have fun bass. It gets more interesting when you learn fifths, thirds, and pentatonics to make walking bass lines. Start plainly, but know that if you learn the notes on your fretboard it'll be a lot easier in the long run.
So google "fretboard notes" or "fretboard map" or something like that - that's a honesty a possessions way to start. You can google "guitar chord chart", and that might help, but there are a lot of chords, and it just might confuse you.
Start by lore the natural notes, ie, C D E F G A B C as they're the most common, then go from there and learn accidentals, etc.
