Any idea on an approximate cost for accordion hurricane shutters for 7 large windows?

You might deficiency to look at Impact Glass windows, instead. Hurricane shutters are both expensive and unattractive.
Impact goblet can help protect your home against a hurricane and offers other benefits, as well. See "Windows" section in this posting for more info.

Is the accordion very difficult to learn?
Jun 10, 2009 by mia | Posted in Other - Music
I haven't had any participation with piano at all so would it be really hard to begin playing? And is it hard to find an accordion teacher? How much does an accordion typically cost to buy/rent?
Thanks you!
~Mia
It depends. How musically inclinded are you and what amicable of accordion were you planning to learn. There are several different kinds. Also it depends on the kind of music you want to play. If you choose a small-scale piano or chromatic accordion, you have way more flexibility as to the kinds of music you can play - however they may be a bit more difficult than a button accordion (diatonic). All of them are actually easy to pick up on for simple music. The average 8 year can play very basic songs in less than 2 weeks. Row your motor boat, three blind mice, etc. Accordion teachers are another matter. It depends on where you live.. I would suggest you log in to several of the accordion groups at Yahoo and ask. Accordon Naturalness Group is one that is quite helpful. Also there is one that Gary Dahl frequents(I can't remember its name) but you could do a google search..He gives lessons via internet. There are several others that do similiar things if there is no one in your tract. Also search for accordion clubs in your area. There are many people that teach but don't advertise. The club would be aware of them. A word of advice - when you buy an accordion, get the docent to check it out before paying and avoid ebay like the plague. Its the home of unsellable junk accordions.
Beneficent Luck!
